As peaceful from above as it is from the ground, Glacier Valley Campground offers beauty and comfort throughout our whole park. Preview the layout with our map before you arrive, and familiarize yourself with our rules ahead of your family vacation with us in Central Wisconsin.
Check-in/Check-out: Check in time is 1:00 PM or thereafter. Checkout time is 12:00 PM. Please let the office know if you need special arrangements.
Cancellation: To cancel a reservation, we must receive notice 14 days, or more, prior to arrival to receive a refund minus $15 service charge. Cancellation after that forfeits one nights’ camping fee.
Minimum Stay Requirements: Holiday weekends require a minimum 3-night stay. Payment in full due at reservation.
Age Requirement: You must be 18 or over to rent a campsite.
Number of Campers: A site is reserved to a family unit, 2 adults and their dependent children under the age of 18. Maximum or 5 campers per site. Additional camper is $10 per person for the length of the stay.
Dump Station: Dump station is free to registered campers only.
Smoking: No smoking in any building or restroom.
Firewood: Firewood may be purchased at the store. DNR regulations state that wood should not transport from more than 10 miles away.
Fire Pits: Do not place garbage in firepit, including cans and cigarette butts. Leave the firepit clean.
Wildlife: Do not feed any wild animals.
Speed Limit: 10 MPH speed limit throughout the entire campground.
Campsite Boundries: Do not walk or drive on other people’s campsites.
ATVs: ATVs are prohibited, along with go-carts, four wheelers, and three wheelers.
Fireworks: No fireworks are allowed.
Disruptive Behavior: If the police are called due to disruptive behavior, the camper may be required to leave. No refunds.
Security: Security personnel patrol day and night. Decisions of security personnel are final regarding all issues.
Hunting: There is no hunting allowed anywhere in Glacier Valley Campground or its immediate surrounds. This includes no hunting with guns, bows, crossbows, BB/pellet guns, slingshots, traps, or any other means.
Quiet Time: Quiet time is 11:00PM to 8:00AM daily. Even outside of quiet time campers are expected to be courteous and not disrupt the enjoyment of other campers.
Site Limits: One camper (Trailer, RV, Pop-up etc.) plus one tent, or two tents without a camper, plus a shade canopy or screened dining enclosure.
Power Usage: Please turn off lights, particularly light strings, before turning in for the night or leaving the campground.
Ashes: Do not throw ashes in the woods. See management if you have a question.
Parking: Sites only have room for 1 vehicle. Additional vehicles can be parked in the designated areas.
Trees: Do not chain/screw/nail anything to the trees or site posts.
Garbage: Dumpsters are located at the front entrance. Please put your garbage in the garbage dumpster, not the recycling dumpster. We believe in recycling. Please put your cans, bottles, paper and cardboard in the recycling dumpster.
Pets: Clean up after your pet. Do not leave pets unattended. Keep your pet on a leash. Make sure unacceptable noise is not a problem. Pets are not to be left unattended. If any pet demonstrates aggressive behavior toward another pet or camper, you may be asked to leave the campground. No pets are allowed in any of the buildings or at the swim pond.
Golf Carts: Cart must be registered with the office. Speed limit is 10mph. Only licensed drivers, age 16+, may drive a cart. No driving on pond sand. Only drive on gravel roads, not on the grass. Do not drive on other people’s sites. Must have headlights on after dark when driving. Do not overload with people. No drunk driving.
